Ministries at HTLC

Here at Holy Trinity we have many ministries that serve not only our congregation, but the community as a whole. If you have questions about any of the groups listed below or would like information on being a part of a ministry, please Contact Us.
Alpha
Since 2005, Holy Trinity has held a variety of courses from the Alpha program. The courses are held on Thursday evenings and include a meal and discussion. (Please check the Calendar page to see if a course is currently running)

Altar Guild
Holy Trinity's Altar Guild maintains and prepares the sacristy for our weekly worship services.
 They meet annually in October to set a new schedule.

Church Council
Our church would not function without the leadership of our Church Council. Members are elected annually at the annual meeting of the congregation is held on the third Sunday of November after our late service.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.

Deacons
Many of Holy Trinity's events are coordinated by the church Deacons.
The annual Advent and Fastnacht dinners, Mother and Daughter Banquet and the church picnic are only some of the Deacon's responsibilities.
They meet at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month.

Endowment Fund
The Endowment Fund Board of Managers maintains bequests given to Holy Trinity
by our congregation. The board meets quarterly meets quarterly in January, April, July and October.

Finance Committee
Responsible for creating Holy Trinity's annual budget,
the Finance Committee meets annually to determine the financial needs of the church.

Music Ministry
We are very proud of our vibrant musical talents at Holy Trinity. Our senior and youth vocal choirs, our three hand bell choirs, and the HTLC Band all perform regularly at Sunday services. See our Music Schedule for more details.

Property Committee
The Property Use Committee meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month to
attend to the maintenance and improvement of Holy Trinity's Church, Parsonage and Luther Haus.

Sewing Ministries
Holy Trinity is very fortunate to have the talents of our Needlepoint Group,
the Jolly Quilters and the Knotty Knotters, which all meet on Tuesday mornings. Not only have our sewers created beautiful pieces to beautify our worship experience, but also donate many items to those in need.

Youth Ministry
Our Youth Ministry is constantly growing and expanding to meet the needs of our congregation's young people. Our Jr. and Sr. High Youth Group has been very active in community activities and fundraisers, as well as attending many event including Creation Fest, Winterfest at Liberty University and different Synod youth gatherings.
